By creating an account or using Joey Tab ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Joey Tab ("we," "us," or "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Joey Tab is a shared expense tracking application designed to help coparents record, split, and reconcile child-related expenses. The Service includes expense logging, split calculation, receipt storage, dispute tracking, AI-assisted statement generation, and PDF export.
Joey Tab is not a legal service, financial advisory service, or mediation service. Nothing in the Service or its outputs constitutes legal or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
To use Joey Tab, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
When one parent ("primary account holder") creates a household and invites a second parent ("invited parent"), both parties are bound by these Terms. The primary account holder is responsible for the subscription and payment.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Joey Tab is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Current pricing is displayed on our pricing page. All prices are in US dollars.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged for the following period.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
You agree to use Joey Tab only for its intended purpose of tracking shared child-related expenses. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
You retain ownership of the expense data you enter into Joey Tab. By submitting data to the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your expense records to train AI models. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect and handle your information.
Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 90 days to allow for export, then permanently deleted.
The Service, including its design, software, trademarks, and content (excluding your user data), is owned by Joey Tab and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
The AI-generated statements produced by the Service are based on the expense data you provide. You may use, download, and share those statements for your own personal and legal purposes.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
AI-generated statements are produced automatically based on the data entered by users. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legal admissibility of any generated statement. Always review statements before relying on them.
Joey Tab is not a substitute for legal counsel. We are not responsible for outcomes in legal proceedings that reference data or statements generated by the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joey Tab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from the settings page.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in conduct we determine is harmful to other users or the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
